Sprawling, busy, and central to the nation's economy, Karachi stands as one of the biggest and most populous cities in the world.
Step off the beaten path and head to Zainab Market and Ocean Tower. The adventure continues: pause for some photo ops at Mazar-E-Quaid, view the masterpieces at Frere Hall, have fun at The Place, and see the interesting displays at PAF Museum.

Valencia, Spain to Karachi is an approximately 20.5-hour flight. The time zone changes from Central European Time to Pakistan Time, which is usually a 4 hour difference. Traveling from Valencia in January, things will get somewhat warmer in Karachi: highs are around 30°C and lows about 13°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 10th (Wed) early enough to travel to Lahore.

Seen by many to be the most forward-thinking, culturally important, and artistic of the country's metropolises, Lahore has plenty of charms, plenty of history, and plenty of people.
Step off the beaten path and head to Walled City of Lahore Authority and Shahi Hammam. There's lots more to do: step into the grandiose world of Lahore Fort (Shahi Qila), pause for some photo ops at Jehangir's Tomb & Kamran's Baradari Pavilion, head outdoors with Bagh-e-Jinnah, and don't miss a visit to Fort and Shalamar Gardens.

You can fly from Karachi to Lahore in 4 hours. Other options are to drive; or take a bus. In January, Lahore is a bit cooler than Karachi - with highs of 20°C and lows of 6°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 14th (Sun) to allow enough time to travel to Islamabad.

The country's capital since 1963, Islamabad has the look and feel of a planned administrative city because, by and large, that's exactly what it is.
Step off the beaten path and head to Murree and Trail 3. And it doesn't end there: take in the spiritual surroundings of Faisal Mosque, stroll through Pir Sohawa, take some stellar pictures from Daman-e-Koh, and appreciate the history behind Pakistan monument.

You can do a combination of taxi and flight from Lahore to Islamabad in 1.5 hours. Another option is to drive. In January in Islamabad, expect temperatures between 20°C during the day and 5°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 18th (Thu) early enough to travel to Kabul.

On the 19th (Fri), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: contemplate the waterfront views at Qargha Lake, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Shah-e Doh Shamshira Mosque, stroll the grounds of Christian Cemetery, then steep yourself in history at Minaret and Archaeological Remains of Jam, then stroll through Bagh-e Babur, and finally don't miss a visit to Babur Tomb.
