  • I went by the JTB tours. Was more expensive, but escorted by us to the seats, was also helpful. 18:00 I eat first. With international buffet, but less food, taste is fairly normal. A restaurant that can accommodate 4,000 people very helpful. The riding elephants at 1,000 baht or by watching the White Tiger, was time. 21:00 start the show. Please with you because it's so cold in the theater. Classical dance and Trapeze, magic show, but still amazing elephant show! It is a sight rarely see in Japan. Seen plenty of elephants to be honest other shows is not so great, but it was good. That said, thought it is enough to look at one time because the price is quite high.

  • TripAdvisor reviews helped me a lot, So here's my input. The main show starts at 9pm upto 10.45pm. Get in theatre before 9. Submit mobile, they have efficient and safe locker system. Buffet food is gr...  more »
  • Beautiful territory, but mostly interesting decorated stores. Particular attractions there. We took the show and dinner, fed delicious restaurant is huge, very nicely decorated. The view itself is normal, not bad but not good. We expected more.

  • DO NOT SUPPORT ANIMAL CRUELTY. Anyone who gives this place 5 stars are seriously uneducated. -The animals do not look happy - They are forced to perform and kept in completely unnatural environment. They should be free to walk and graze and interact with each other freely. - Elephants are majestic intelligent animals and they should be respected more as part of Thailand culture. - You want you show you kids animal. Great. Pick somewhere else. You want to immerse your family in Thai culture. Great. Pick somewhere else. EDUCATE YOUSELVES. DO YOUR RESEARCH. & DO NOT SUPPORT ANIMAL CRUELTY.
  • They have combined traditional Thai culture/dance into a very entertaining show. I hope they continue to improve their overall quality of the show to meet or exceed world class level. You can either buy ticket for the show with meal or just the show. The huge dining hall that they serve meal, buffet style is very beautiful. It seats probably about 4000 people. The show seat is pretty good not small seat like show in las Vegas I have been to. Getting to the show, I would recommend prearrange with the hotel or hire private shuttle to avoid confusion.
  • The show was fantastic. Great way of showcasing the culture. Loved their aerial act. Otherwise the place was jam packed with stuffed elephants. The games were a tad too costly. The installed structure were beautiful. Totally a photo maniac's paradise. However, the frequent appearance of elephants and a baby tiger in the act made me think of animal rights. To think what the animals would be going through in the name of the performances...
  • Place is beautiful but too expensive. Food in the buffet ain't great either. Drinks too expensive. They use poor elephants who look distressed and sad. First you can ride on them, then they take part in the show with loud bangs and fireworks. Elephants are beautiful animals. They are part of Thailand culture and should be treated with respect. Glad I didn't take my kids with me. Would not recommend it.
  • The Shopping here is very expensive specially the games which are in the surrounding. They can work better on the maintenance of the Palace of Elephants. The Golden Kinnaree Buffet is a part of the visit to this place. The food quality was fine as far as taste is concern for Indians it's a compromise with taste. The show was good but I couldn't see the animals used in a bad way just to show Thailand cultural program. The animals including elephants, hens, snakes etc doesn't look happy doing the show. They should have some alternative arrangements instead of using the animals in a wrong way.

Where to stay in Kamala

Unlike much of Phuket Island, Kamala doesn't attract a large number of international visitors, so accommodations remain a bit sparse. The seafront offers some high-end hotels and resorts, along with a few plainer hotels and apartment rentals. Farther away from the coastline, you can find some lower-priced options at hotels and private homes.
