Chef LeeZ Thai Cooking Class Bangkok, Bangkok

4.9
#2 of 36 in Classes in Bangkok
In one hands-on from-scratch class, Chef LeeZ Thai Cooking Class Bangkok teaches you to cook traditional Thai cuisine just like grandma made it. During your half-day class, you'll learn to cook a dozen different dishes--this means that the per-cost dish here is far less than at other Thai cooking classes (which offer 3-4 dishes). With class sizes averaging 5-7 students, you receive interpersonal attention, a big reason why these classes have been Bangkok's top-rated on TripAdvisor since 2011. Everyone is welcome--families, meat lovers, vegetarians, vegans, virgin cooks, and accomplished chefs. The instructor also adjusts each student's ingredients according to his/her individual dietary needs. • was impressed by the reviews Chef LeeZ was getting and it was no brainer when I booked my class. The process was easy, go to the website to sign up, choose the date, times are from 10:00 to 14:00 afte...  more »

  • Cooking with ready-to-go ingredients it's way too easy. I enjoyed the most making coconut cream, milk, tamarind sauce, shrimp sauce, steam sticky rice, because these are the basic of Thai cuisine. Now...  more »

  • The best Thai food that you have on your trip to Thailand will be at Chef Leez! The instructions, ingredients, and cooking tools provided are top notch. You will learn to appreciate, not only how to cook, but how to be discerning with your ingredients, how to prep, and even the history of your dishes. Highly recommended!
  • Had a great time with Chef Leez. As an absolute beginner I had a great time in class. Learning to prepare 10 dished in nearly 4 hours was awesome. Extreme great value for the price you pay.
  • Attending Chef LeeZ'sThai Cooking Class in Bangkok was by far one of the highlights of my family's trip to Thailand. Not only was the food we cooked the best Thai food I had my entire time in the country, but the mango with coconut sticky rice dessert was ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. I cannot recommend this class enough. Anyone who visits Bangkok and enjoys cooking (or eating) should absolutely take her course.
  • I never expected that some of the best food I would have in Thailand would be cooked by me. Chef Lee is funny, friendly, and provides very helpful information through the entire class. We started the class at 3pm and finished around 9pm. Definitely go in hungry, you will be full by the end. You can also take pictures during the class. Chef Lee and her assistants took photos of us when we wanted to get our entire group in the picture. We were provided with recipes during the class that were ours to keep. This was great because we could take notes of the details as we cooked. A lifetime membership to the recipe club was included with the class, so we have digital access to recipes as well. The food was so fresh, we laughed most of the class, and it ended up as one of the most memorable parts of our trip. Call ahead a few days early and book it. This class is amazing!
  • I have done cooking classes in multiple countries and this was one of the absolute best. The value for the money is spectacular and I learned so much. There are things you learn here that you just can't learn from a cookbook or video. The way the stations are set up, cleaned, and managed creates an efficient method of mastering more dishes than I could actually eat! It was so much food and all of it was just perfect. Highly recommended.
