Disneyland Park, Marne-la-Vallee

3.7
#1 of 224 in Theme Parks in France
Make your family's dreams come true at Disneyland Park, the European outpost of the famous “Magic Kingdom.” The park is divided into five themed lands--Main Street U.S.A., Frontierland, Adventureland, Fantasyland, and Discoveryland--with the Disneyland Railroad running along the perimeter. At the center, see the white Fantasyland Castle with its pink turrets designed around the real Château d'Ussé.

Teens and adults will love the rush of Space Mountain Mission 2, while the littlest kids in can set sail around the globe at the "It's a Small World" attraction. Bring your camera to a meet-and-greet with Disney characters, who appear throughout the park, though it’s tough to find the same one twice. To be sure to see a favorite, inquire at the City Hall near the entrance in the Town Square. Take advantage of the free FastPass system for the most popular rides, like Peter Pan and Tower of Terror. Visit on August 15 and 16 on the two parks. Positives: - satisfactory hotel at the Redwood Lodge room - wonderful shows (stuntmen, Disney magician, show sound and light from 11 pm, film)-sets beautiful negatives - we're doing the tail at the entrance because many turnstiles are not open § the tone is set, he will have to spend his time waiting. -Two overcrowded parks: up to 100 minutes of waiting at the mine train! and at 10: 00 in the morning, a line of 80 m long to wait just to get a FastPass to Ratatouille! Disney was able to convince people to wait over an hour for a ticket that is used to less wait... - technical problems repeatedly: the mine Train, Pirate of the Caribbean, Autopia... Autopia managed to close because it's raining and we have to evacuate the water with a squeegee. It is to wonder what is done in terms of maintenance when you see all these technical problems. -Toilet in a deplorable state: some visitors are not own it is certain given the number but if we do get many visitors there are also organizing the cleanup! -No consideration for visitors: in the queue for Disney magician or we were already tight at the point of not feeling well, a call to the micro application to tighten even more. Feels taken for cattle that we get in a truck... What will happen in the event of crowd movement or the need to evacuate the Park in an emergency? I asked myself the question and I hope to never have the answer--more shops and trailer selling "memories" or "dining" at exorbitant prices to attractions or shows. Clearly, the goal is to get you out the wallet a maximum and make sure to empty as possible. -On the small ride Cars, up to 50 minutes of waiting for an attraction which I timed lap in 57 seconds... In conclusion, too many disadvantages for the magic to operate would only be a little bit. Even the children come out disappointed while they r ^ evaient before the commercials seen on TV, but it's a great lesson for them (at full price!): do not blindly believe what you see in commercials and these two days will have made them progress to this level.

We came on Sunday, August 13. I was afraid that the Park is further saturated the date given, but in the end it was about. Well clearly it is high season and wait times were quite high. Arriving at 9:30, this leaves you time to pass the security check (better go through the Disney village) and enter the Park quickly. I recommend getting a fast pass in the morning for the most popular attractions (train of the mine or peter pan), your time will be faster and you will be able to take others during the day. It is also vital to use the disneyland app to manage the time of expectations and avoid mail anywhere in the Park. By doing this, we waited 45 minutes max. Regarding attractions, I particularly liked the rehabilitation of pirates of the Caribbean and the new star tour is great, the course is at random each time, what makes you want to go back again and again! On the other hand, disappointed by the space mountain star wars version, except music and a few screens the ride remains the same and the universe of Jules Verne does not stick with the star wars universe. The new cars are good for the harness however 1st places have very little space for the legs because of the wheel! Better is worth getting into the 2nd row. The parade was beautiful and tanks are beautiful, especially the evil dragon however a lot of people and difficult well to place same ene both 30 minutes ahead. Disappointment in the evening show which bcp is less although the previous one, it's just the projection of the castle of excerpts from films or cartoons without true story. The final is also spectacular. Restore question, quite a surprise on the way to the golden nugget saloon the mdi and captain jack is good overall but expensive. Basically a successful but tiring day better is to go outside the school holidays and weekends if one can of course.

My opinion here is the central reservation of Disneyland Paris. We wanted to book our next holiday to Disneyland Paris and I had the pleasant surprise to have a "cast member" on the phone very friendly! Once the stay is valid and explanations (perfectly) informed we started talking about the Park and this passion we had, my companion and I, him. 50 minutes to share with this cast member to discuss the fun that we have coming up on the Resort for years. Little (or not?) of telephone operators take the time to share with the customer the experiences he had. It was really fun to discuss and I felt that I was not a regular customer that we wind a stay. I was dealing with a real passion for Disney who communicated with the "pixie dust" in the voice and who was happy as enthusiastic as mine customer return. Thanks to her (her first name Iris) and again, this kind of experience shows that Disneyland Paris attaches real importance to its loyal "Guest". The excellence of the Disney service.

It's one of the best things you can do in Paris ! There are two parks and it's tough to cover both in one day. Beware some of the rides close earlier than others so keep checking. The official app is amazing, highly recommend installing it when in park or even before to plan ahead. The app shows current wait times for each ride and lots of other info. There is really good support for people with mobility related disabilities too. Overall one of the best experiences on offer in Paris. Protip: make your way in front of castle around 8:30 and camp out in the center of the courtyard to enjoy fireworks and projections :) it gets really crowded really quick.

I know this place is a must for parents who want satisfy their children as Disney is part of little ones lives these days especially with the wife access to media and smart devices etc. But this place is a nightmare for parents. 1. It's too too too expensive. I am not talking about the tickets only but everything else inside. The food is awfully expensive. Drinks are €3.49 for a bottle of Coke it's not even cold drink. Water is €3.20 for 0.5L bottle. And the toys and the costumes Mickey Mouse ears cost €17.99 that's probably the cheapest thing one can buy. 2. Limited access to Disney Characters. I mean we had to wait 2 hours and 30 minutes for a pose with Minnie Mouse. The park is opened between 10am to 11pm but the Characters are available for few hours only between 10 and 4pm. The queues are unbelievable. 3. Avoid Hollywood Planet restaurant is simply not worth it we had to pay €76 for 3 chicken nuggets meals a burger and jacket Potato the food was awful, the service is worse. 4. The most exciting ride for the children had a mechanical failure 3 times in 2 days we had to be evacuated from the middle of the ride. 5. The queues for the rides are as long as 90 minutes. Fast truck lines waiting times that's if you can get a fast truck ticket in the day is 20 minutes. Don't recommend

Had loads of fun and enjoyed every moment. Though we had very little time, we made the best use of it. Enjoyed all the rides we could manage in the few hours that we spent there. Pl try to spend at least a day or two, just for Disneyland in Paris. Tasted the Candy Apple for the first time and fell in love with it instantly. I recommend it to everyone who has a sweet tooth. Disneyland Paris was an awesome experience. One more information for visitors, especially to the foreigners, the staff are very very friendly and helpful.

Why 4 star review: Good 1. We spent all day there and had a lot of good time 2. Interesting for kids 3. Makeup for people working there is great, so when you happen to walk around and you bump into Peter Pan kids will be ecstatic cause he really looks like a "real deal". 4. It is big and there are different parts that look completely different when compared to each other. Bad 1. Lots of rides and attraction are not working for renovation. 2. Some rides need either to be changed or updated 3. Food could be much better. It is probably good for majority of westerners cause they are used to crappy fast food, but for people that have access to food with real tastes it is kinda disappointing. 4. Majority of products for sale are cheap Chinese things. If something have at least a little bit quality you will need to pay hundreds.

Great place, great atmosphere, but WOW, the food prices are the highest I have ever seen (and by a long way) of any resort. We paid €68 for fish and chips for two adults and three children! Insane. Add to that a bottle of diet coke (€3.70) and then ice cream (€3.90) and the day gets very expensive. Giving it three stars because of this and the fact that Thunder Mountain and Hyperspace Mountain were both out of action for several hours during the day. Seems Disney should spend some money on ensuring the attractions are fully serviceable prior to opening. Other than that, typical Disney experience.
